1. Overview
Individual Entrepreneur GLEB KUCHERENKO provides Mademory, an iPhone and iPad app for preserving children’s artwork and related memories. The app is designed to work locally and does not require a developer-operated account.
2. Information stored by the app
Depending on the features used, Mademory may store artwork photos, scans, thumbnails, reversible edits, child profiles, dates, titles, notes, categories, favorites, recognized text, optional Voice Stories, archive integrity records and purchase-entitlement status supplied by Apple.
This information remains in the protected app container unless the user chooses iCloud, sharing, backup, export or support actions described below.
3. No developer-operated content collection
The current app does not automatically send archive content or behavioral analytics to the operator. It contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, developer content server or remote crash-reporting SDK. The operator cannot browse a local archive.
4. iCloud and Family Archive sharing
If Family & Cloud features are explicitly enabled, archive data may be stored in the user’s Apple iCloud account through CloudKit. Invited participants may view or edit content according to the role granted by the owner.
Apple operates iCloud and CloudKit under the user’s Apple account settings and Apple’s terms. iCloud sync is not presented as an independent verified backup.
5. Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases. Mademory receives signed product and entitlement information through StoreKit but does not receive full payment-card details. Purchase Family Sharing is separate from sharing archive data.
6. Device permissions
Mademory requests Camera for artwork capture, Photos for user-selected imports, Microphone for a Voice Story after Start, Notifications for optional local reminders, and device-owner authentication for selected protected actions. It does not receive or store biometric templates.
7. Export, backup and sharing
When the user chooses export, backup or the Apple Share sheet, information is sent to the destination selected by that user. Protected `.mademory` backups use a passphrase that the operator cannot recover.
Complete export fails visibly rather than silently omitting a required original that is missing or corrupt.
8. Local diagnostics and support
The app retains at most 100 content-free operational safety records on the device. They are not sent automatically. A user may explicitly share a redacted report.
When support is contacted, the operator processes the supplied email address, message and chosen attachments to respond, investigate, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months unless law requires longer, then deleted or anonymized.
9. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until the user deletes it, restores another archive, uninstalls the app or erases the device. Eligible deletions remain in Recently Deleted for 30 days unless removed permanently sooner.
Backups, exports and shared copies remain at their chosen destinations and must be deleted there separately. iCloud content remains subject to the user’s actions, participant copies and Apple service behavior.
10. Children’s privacy
Mademory is intended for a parent, guardian or other authorized adult. It is not directed to children as an independent online service and is not intended for the App Store Kids Category. Adults are responsible for authority to store and share a child’s information.
11. Security
Mademory uses iOS Data Protection, app-container isolation, integrity checks and recoverable storage transactions. Optional protected backups use encryption. No system can guarantee absolute security or zero data loss; users should keep a separately stored verified backup of important material.
12. International processing
Local content stays under the user’s device and Apple-account choices. Support communications may be processed in Georgia and where email providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.
13. Changes
This policy may change when product behavior, law or service providers change. The effective date will be updated and additional notice provided where required.
