Recording begins only when you choose
Mademory asks for microphone access in context and records only after Start. You can pause, review, replace or discard before committing the story to the archive.
Portable with the rest of the memory
Voice Stories are included in complete backups and human-readable exports. If you share an archive through iCloud, access follows the archive role rather than a separate public audio link.

Does Mademory transcribe or analyze the recording?
No. Voice Story is an audio memory. The current app does not send it to a developer transcription or analysis service.
Can I replace a Voice Story later?
Yes. Replacement uses a review flow so an existing recording is not lost before the new one is ready to save.
